NO COOK PLAYDOUGH #1
You will need:
2 cups of plain flour
4 tablespoons of ‘cream of tartar’
2 tablespoons of cooking oil
1 cup of salt
2 cups of boiling water
Method:
Combine the plain flour, salt and cream of tartar
Add water, food colouring and oil
Mix and knead until all of the ingredients are combined

NO COOK PLAYDOUGH #2
You will need:
2 cups of plain flour
1 cup of salt
1 tablespoon of cooking oil
¾ cup of cold water
2 drops of food colouring if desired
Method:
Combine the plain flour and salt
Add water, food colouring and oil
Mix and knead until all of the ingredients are combined
If the consistency is too wet, add a little sprinkle of plain flour
If the consistency is too dry, add a few drops of water
Food colouring alternative:
If food colouring isn’t your thing, chop up your desired colour: fruit, veg or flower!
Place about half a cup of your chopped goodness into a saucepan with about a cup of water, ‘bring it to the boil’, then simmer for approx 10-15 minutes, until the food turns to liquid.
Or you can visit your local green grocer or maybe your health food shop and ask if they stock veggie powder!
Let the goodness cool, then pour it through a strainer into your playdough.
